Jane Doe is not her real name as she claims to not remember it, she was found in a ditch by an anxious ghost named Sabrina who she soon became friends with and later the two would also meet an impulsive vampire named V. Jane tends to take charge in their little group the most because she tends to think more logically than the other two. She tends to get into fights with V the most because of how different their ways of thinking are with Sabrina mediating most of the time.
Despite Jane genuinely treasuring her friendship with Sabrina and V she out right lies about her having amnesia and not remembering her life before she died because she wants to distance herself from her scientist father who ran experiments on living creatures including herself. Eventually the abuse of her father to both herself and her fathers “experiments” became to much for Jane to bare and she revolted against him. This resulted in both of their deaths by the others hand (she was about 16). Sometime after these events Jane wakes up in the ditch that Sabrina finds her in as and undead creature, unknowing of how she was brought back and why or by who.
